Don't be sorry -- I spew words abut London too. I adore the place; it's my favourite city on the planet. We didn't go to Forbidden Planet -- I spent a fortune at Comicon the week before and tripled (!!!) my comics collection (to 15) so I didn't really see the need. Also, we didn't make the Ice Age exhibit at the BM as it was totally sold out for the time we were there. :-(

And yes re yours and kidlet's age -- you're probably right ... I am WAAYY old. Too old to be writing fan fiction and shipping and stuff, but I resolutely refuse to be fenced in. Age is only a number after all, and as long as my teenager thinks her mom is cool, I'm good.
